Tessellated Truncated Tetrahedron of Life
Light sculpture that projects a seamless variation of the flower of life pattern. Keith designed this sculpture after carefully considering which shapes would fit a pattern with six fold symmetry. The truncated tetrahedron has 4 hexagon faces and 4 triangle faces. Waterjet cut from plates of aluminum with the generous help of Ike Feitler.

Bog exploration
I love bogs because they are home to several carnivorous plants, dragonflies, orchids, and many other wonders. Ponkapoag bog is one of my favorite places in the state of Massachusetts with a stunning array of species. The flowers in the cover photo for this album are of the native carnivorous purple pitcher plant.
Bioluminescence
Bioluminescent Bitter oyster mushroom (Panellus stipticus) at the Middlesex Fells Reservation. I found these with the help of a friend known to me only as "mushroom Zack" at the time. These mushrooms are common but the glow is faint and these exposures were taken over the course of several minutes.
Humblolt Redwoods State Park
The old growth forests of the west coast are some of my favorite places.
Night photography
Project MUM
Night photography poses many of that same challenges as macro photography. I enjoy glowy art and photographing fire spinning because they are awesome.
